Donor Egg Programs

Donor Nexus offers two donor egg programs for intended parents: the Fresh Matching Program and the Frozen Egg Bank. The same experienced team manages both, and we can help you determine which is the right fit for your goals, timeline, and budget. If you have questions, contact us.

Over 2,000 Babies Born Through Our Programs

With success rates above national averages and partnerships with 150+ clinics worldwide, Donor Nexus has the track record and the infrastructure to keep your cycle on track. Because we treat our donors with respect and fair compensation, we attract and retain donors that other agencies cannot. 70% of our cycles come from repeat donors. That consistency benefits you.

Flexibility to Match Your Preferences

Nonidentified, Identified, and Open ID Donations

Both the Fresh Matching Program and the Frozen Egg Bank support flexible donation types tailored to the donor's and intended parent(s)' preferences. Each donor’s preferences are listed on her profile so you can see them before making a decision. We also offer flexible arrangements between these categories.
Please note: With advancements in commercial genetic testing, we counsel all parties that permanent anonymity cannot be guaranteed, regardless of donation type.

Nonidentified

Only non-identifying information is shared between parties. You view the donor’s profile through our online database.

Identified

You and the donor agree on terms, which may include contact for medical reasons, the option for offspring to meet the donor, or sharing photos over time.

Open ID

The donor agrees to release identifying information to any donor-conceived individual aged 18 or older upon request.

What Is a Fresh Egg Donor Cycle?

In a fresh cycle, eggs are retrieved from the donor and immediately fertilized with sperm (from a partner or donor) in the lab. The resulting embryos are grown for 5 to 6 days to reach the blastocyst stage. If you choose PGT-A testing, viable blastocysts are biopsied and sent for genetic screening, with results typically returned in 1 to 3 weeks. From there, you and your physician decide which embryo(s) to transfer. Some families opt for a fresh embryo transfer, while others vitrify the embryos for transfer at a later date.

The average fresh cycle yields 29 eggs, of which 23 are mature and usable. It is common for intended parents to receive between 18 and 35 eggs, typically resulting in 5to 9 viable embryos. Many families choose the Fresh Matching Program specifically because it often yields enough embryos to freeze extras for a future sibling.

What Is a Frozen Donor Egg Cycle?

In a frozen cycle, eggs have already been retrieved from the donor and vitrified (flash-frozen) for storage in our egg bank. Once you secure a cohort, we ship the eggs to your IVF clinic. Your clinic then thaws and fertilizes the eggs with designated sperm to create embryos. Some clinics thaw the eggs when you are ready for transfer; others thaw ahead of time, grow embryos, perform PGT-A testing, and freeze the blastocysts for a later frozen embryo transfer.

Cohorts generally include six eggs. If the donor has additional frozen eggs available and you are interested, more can be shipped for an additional cost.

Financial Options

We partner with CapexMD to provide access to fertility financing. We also maintain a resource page with current IVF grant opportunities. For our donor egg cycles, we offer the option of paying your cycle fee in two installments.

A few things that set us apart:

  • A diverse range of egg donors for fresh cycles, with frozen donor eggs available for shipment worldwide.
  • An affordable embryo donation program with no wait list.

  • A dedicated case manager who knows your situation and stays in consistent contact throughout the process.

We'd also invite you to read through testimonials from our families — their words tell the story better than we can.

Yes. We work with most fertility clinics worldwide. We coordinate directly with your clinic so you're not managing two separate conversations on your own.

That's completely fine — many of our intended parents are in the same position. We're happy to refer you to a partner clinic to get you started. We work with the top 150 IVF clinics around the United States.

For fresh cycles, yes — we can arrange a Zoom call so you can get a sense of who she is before confirming the match. No identifying information is shared on the call. There's a non-refundable $500 fee to facilitate the meeting, which is applied toward your cycle fees if you move forward. This option isn't available for frozen donor egg cycles.

For our Fresh Matching Program, we encourage Intended Parents to connect with one donor at a time via Zoom — and it's one of the reasons we ask every donor to submit a video beforehand.

When a donor agrees to a Zoom call, it signals to her that a match is likely moving forward. If a cycle doesn't progress after that conversation, it can leave her feeling as though she wasn't "good enough" — and that's something we work hard to protect our donors from experiencing.

Reviewing donor videos carefully before requesting a Zoom call helps ensure the connection is intentional and meaningful for everyone involved.

Register for free access to our online donor database. You'll find donors available in our Fresh Matching Program and frozen eggs available in our Frozen Egg Bank. After you register, you'll hear from our team with more information about the program you're interested in. We're available for consultations by phone, video, or in person, whatever works best for you.
