Donor Nexus has been welcoming and offering family-building solutions to LGBTQ+ community members since our establishment in 2012. Now, we are excited to announce our partnership with Family Equality, an organization that is fighting to protect and support LGBTQ+ families. As stated on their website, the mission of Family Equality is to “advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families, and for those who wish to form them, through building community, changing hearts and minds, and driving policy change.”

Our Commitment to the LGBTQ+ Community

The team here at Donor Nexus has completed the “Beyond Diversity: LGBTQ 101” course offered by Family Equality, which was designed to equip family-building professionals with the knowledge to care for the LGBTQ+ community with sensitivity and excellence. The Beyond Diversity course addressed issues of language, resource allocation, and patient care that are experienced by members of the LGBTQ+ community.  

With the knowledge and insights we gained from the course, we are more committed than ever to providing LGBTQ+ community members with the highest standard of care and competency on their paths to parenthood. 

We stand with Family Equality in their vision of a world in which every LGBTQ+ person has the right and the opportunity to form and sustain a loving family, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, national origin, geography, socioeconomic status, or disability. We are committed to providing services and support that are free of discrimination and maximizes opportunity for LGBTQ+ community members who are seeking to grow their family through the use of assisted reproductive technology, specifically when using donor eggs or donor embryos.
